Managed services for police extra-duty programs

Overview

Extra Duty Solutions provides managed back-office services for law enforcement, handling the admin of off-duty/extra-duty programs. By offering end-to-end management in a centralized system, it reduces workload and helps control financial and legal risk compared with in-house or piecemeal approaches. The goal is to lessen administrative burden, reduce risk exposure, and improve operational efficiency so police departments can concentrate on public safety.

  • EDS said March 13, 2026 it serves 350 clients across 32 states.

  • Sagemount backed EDS in June 2025, validating a niche public-safety workflow.
