GrayMatter acquires FTE Factory Advisors to combine Lean methodology with AI-driven automation

The deal expands GrayMatter's capabilities in delivering comprehensive factory transformation services combining strategy, Lean methodology and AI-driven industrial intelligence. The acquisition integrates Factory Advisors' Lean expertise with GrayMatter's digital consulting practice, enabling manufacturers to modernise operations through operational excellence practices and advanced digital capabilities. Factory Advisors founder John Lucci emphasised that sustaining Lean principles at scale now requires digital enablement and AI-driven insights. The combined entity, GrayMatter Factory Advisors, will offer automation solutions, AI-enhanced consulting, Lean transformation accelerators strengthened by analytics and machine learning, and scalable frameworks for improving throughput, quality and productivity.
