Avery, a Texas native who attended high school just minutes from this location, brought a personal perspective to this project. Her creative interpretation of Buffalo Bayou, located near the apartment community, captures the water's organic flow and the graceful birds that call the area home. Spanning more than 1,100 square feet, this vibrant mural transforms Rosine Street into an open-air gallery - a love letter of public art for all passersby. The design reflects the spirit of Houston: dynamic, diverse, and deeply connected to its natural surroundings.
