Overview

Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is a nonprofit Christian retirement community for older adults who need housing and care as their needs change. Its campus combines independent duplexes and apartments with supportive care and a licensed intermediate care Health Center for residents who need assistance with personal routines and daily clinical support. Charitable gifts help fund care for residents who outlive their resources, and community life includes worship services, prayer groups and a full-time chaplain. Founded in 1966, Fairhaven is headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, and is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America's Great Lakes District.
