Fibra develops smart underwear with detachable magnetic electronics and proprietary yarn-based biosensors that passively monitor reproductive health. The underwear measures skin temperature, heart rate, heart rate variability, vaginal discharge pH and volume, and streams data via Bluetooth to a mobile app. AI analyzes the data in real time to provide cycle trends, ovulation predictions, and personalized health insights. The system offers a non-invasive alternative to manual fertility tracking and aims to support all stages of a woman's life, including contraception, pregnancy, and menopause, with plans to expand its platform. The company distinguishes itself through wearable, machine-washable textiles and continuous passive data collection integrated into everyday apparel, backed by university research partnerships and a recent oversubscribed pre-seed round to accelerate development and market launch.
