Firefly

Firefly

Emergency response software and hardware for sites

Overview

Firefly sells a safety and emergency response platform to schools, hospitals, hotels, retailers, and workplaces, combining cloud software with connected hardware. Its Ember application handles site mapping, asset and people management, mass communication, roll call, response workflows, EMS integration, and an AI response agent, while its Emergency Readiness Suite adds panic buttons, detection devices, and noise analysis. Staff write response protocols in plain English instead of configuring rules, and the company says a site can be operational within 24 hours of onboarding. Unlike the disconnected alarm, camera, and notification systems most buildings run, it puts detection and coordinated response in one place. Its goal is to shorten response times by giving every site a single operating picture during an incident.
