Overview

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, nonprofit health system serving central North Carolina through hospital and community care. Its hospitals and clinics combine primary and specialty care, including emergency medicine, cancer, heart and vascular services, rehabilitation, hospice, home care and virtual visits. The system also operates ambulance and critical care transport and community programs, linking acute treatment with support beyond hospital stays. FirstHealth's comprehensive cancer center and dedicated heart and vascular center bring advanced specialty services to the region. Formed in 1995 when Moore Regional Hospital and Montgomery Memorial Hospital joined, FirstHealth is headquartered in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
