Third-party logistics provider FitzMark announced the acquisition of brokers High Point Logistics and Pentonix Freight.
FitzMark announced the acquisition of refrigerated brokerage High Point Logistics (HPL) and less-than-truckload broker Pentonix Freight. Financial terms were not disclosed. This marks FitzMark's ninth acquisition since 2006. The deals enhance FitzMark's capabilities in refrigerated, LTL, and managed transportation. HPL and Pentonix are based in Jackson, Tennessee, and Fort Worth, Texas, respectively. FitzMark is backed by private equity firm Calera Capital.
Third-party logistics provider FitzMark said Wednesday it has acquired truck broker GTO 2000.Gainesville, Georgia-based GTO 2000 focuses primarily on temperature-controlled truckload transportation.
