ForSight Robotics develops a robotic platform for eye surgery. It combines a hybrid intraocular robot with surgical tools to help ophthalmologists perform procedures with higher precision and efficiency. The system is used in medical institutions such as eye clinics and hospitals and is designed to assist surgeons during procedures by stabilizing motion, enabling delicate micromovements, and improving control through a robotic interface. The company plans to sell or lease the platform and provide training, software updates, and ongoing support to customers, aiming to create long-term service relationships. The product is not yet FDA-cleared and is pursuing regulatory approval before commercialization.

ForSight Robotics has completed the world's first fully robot-assisted cataract surgery in a human patient using its JASPER Platform. The procedure was performed by Dr Alexey Rapoport at the Asian Eye Institute in Manila, marking the first time a cataract surgery has been completed entirely robotically without general anaesthesia. Unlike previous partial robotic procedures, the JASPER Platform assists surgeons through every step of cataract surgery, providing advanced imaging, precision and motion scaling whilst reducing surgeon fatigue. The system is designed to address a global shortage of trained surgeons and improve access to care. An estimated 600 million people worldwide need cataract surgery, yet only 30 million procedures are performed annually. Following its Series B funding in 2025, ForSight Robotics will advance toward clinical validation and regulatory submissions.
