Overview

Franciscan Ministries is a nonprofit Catholic organization that runs senior living communities and care services for older adults and their families. Sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, its communities combine independent and assisted living with memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, with services varying by campus. Its work also includes home and community-based care, a domestic violence shelter and educational support through the Madonna Foundation. Franciscan Advisory Services is its consulting and management division for other senior living organizations. The ministry traces its roots to 1894 and is headquartered in Lemont, Illinois.
