Overview

Freedom Preparatory Academy operates a network of Pre-K through 12th-grade charter schools in Memphis, Tennessee, delivering college-preparatory education paired with a strong athletics program. Across elementary, middle, and high schools, the campuses provide a full K–12 curriculum funded mainly by state and federal public funding, with additional support from grants and donations. The charter model enables high-quality academics and extracurriculars across multiple campuses for a diverse student body, with families encouraged to participate. The goal is to develop future leaders by combining rigorous academics with leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through athletics and other activities.
