Fundraise Up launches free AI Visibility Assessment as nonprofit web traffic drops 35%

Fundraise Up has launched the AI Visibility Assessment, a free tool showing nonprofits how AI assistants currently understand and represent their organisations. The launch is the first practical application of Fundraise Up's Agentic Giving product suite, introduced in July to address the shift from donors navigating websites themselves to delegating discovery and giving through AI assistants. Organic search traffic to nonprofit websites has fallen approximately 35% year-over-year, whilst AI-referred traffic has grown roughly 1,000%. The assessment lets nonprofits enter their URL and see how AI interprets their organisation, where gaps exist, and what they can do to improve visibility. Fundraise Up's Agentic Giving infrastructure is designed to enable AI assistants to identify a nonprofit's authorised giving route and create official donation sessions, preserving recurring gifts, receipts, consent and attribution.

Fundraise Up Launches AI Visibility Assessment to Help Nonprofits Prepare for Agentic Giving

Fundraise Up Launches AI Visibility Assessment to Help Nonprofits Prepare for Agentic Giving TMCnet News [September 01, 2026] | / | Fundraise Up Launches AI Visibility Assessment to Help Nonprofits Prepare for Agentic Giving BROOKLYN, N.Y., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Fundraise Up, the fundraising platform used by thousands of nonprofits globally, today launched the AI Visibility Assessment, a free tool that shows nonprofits how AI assistants currently understand and represent their organization. The launch is the first practical application of Fundraise Up's Agentic Giving product suite, introduced in July to describe the shift from donors navigating websites and donation forms themselves to delegating more of discovery, evaluation and giving through AI assistants. Organic search traffic to nonprofit websites has fallen approximately 35% year-over-year, while AI-referred traffic has grown roughly 1,000%. Donors are beginning to ask AI assistants which organizations address the causes they care about - often receiving an answer without ever visiting a nonprofit website. For nonprofits, that creates a new question: What does AI say about Fog Computing World? "Introducing Agentic Giving was about showing the sector where donor behavior is heading. Now we want to help every nonprofit understand where it stands," said Peter Byrnes, CEO and Co-Founder of Fundraise Up. "Before an AI assistant can help someone give to your organization, it has to be able to find you, understand you and trust the information it finds. The AI Visibility Assessment makes that visible." Unlike a traditional search engine, which returns links for a donor to evaluate, an AI assistant can synthesize information from a nonprofit's website, ratings pages, directories, media coverage and other sources - and provide an answer directly. If those sources are unclear, inconsistent or outdated, the nonprofit risks being represented inccurately or left out of the answer entirely. Fundraise Up's AI Visibility Assessment lets a nonprofit enter its URL and see how AI currently interprets its organization, where gaps exist and what it can do to improve its visibility. Organizations receive results immediately, with specific recommendations for what to address next. AI visibility is the first step in a larger shift. Fundraise Up introduced Agentic Giving on July 30 as a new category describing a future in which donors increasingly begin with intent rather than navigation. A donor might ask an AI assistant to find credible organizations addressing a cause, compare them and ultimately initiate a gift. That raises an important question for nonprofits: when an AI agent initiates a donation, who owns the giving experience that follows? Fundraise Up is building for a future where the nonprofit does. Its Agentic Giving infrastructure is designed to enable AI assistants to identify a nonprofit's authorized giving route and create an official Fundraise Up donation session, preserving the recurring gift, receipt, consent, attribution and CRM synchronization nonprofits rely on today. "Every major shift in technology creates new possibilities for how people give," said Byrnes. "AI is changing where the donor experience begins, but the opportunity is the same: make giving easier and help nonprofits build stronger relationships with the people who support them. We're building for what becomes possible when that experience can start anywhere." Fundraise Up's Agentic Giving work spans three connected capabilities: AI Discovery Readiness, including the new AI Visibility Assessment; Agentic Giving Pages, structured sources of truth designed to make a nonprofit's mission, campaigns and giving options legible to AI systems; and the Agent Donation Gateway, designed to allow authorized AI agents to create official Fundraise Up donation sessions. The AI Visibility Assessment is available free today from Fundraise Up. About Fundraise Up Fundraise Up exists to unlock the world's generosity. Fundraise Up launches Tap to Donate and Peer-to-Peer fundraising with AI-powered tools

Fundraise Up has launched two new products: Tap to Donate and Peer-to-Peer Fundraising, both now in early access. The Brooklyn-based company reports its technology has driven an average 30% lift in conversion for nonprofits that switched to its platform. Tap to Donate allows staff and volunteers to accept donations on phones or iPads at events. Early-access nonprofits saw average gift sizes rise 24% compared to previous in-person giving tools. The feature is included at no additional cost. The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising product uses an AI coach to help supporters create campaigns, write their stories, and track progress. During early access, the share of fundraisers raising at least one gift nearly doubled. Both products integrate with Fundraise Up's existing payments infrastructure used by nonprofits including UNICEF USA and the Canadian Red Cross.
