Overview

GBMC HealthCare owns and operates Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), a regional community hospital in Towson, Maryland. It also includes GBMC Health Partners, a network of more than 300 primary care providers and specialists; Greater Baltimore Health Alliance; the GBMC Foundation; and Gilchrist, Maryland’s leading nonprofit provider of serious illness and end-of-life care. The organization coordinates hospital care, outpatient services, and support through its network to deliver medical services to the community. It aims to educate the next generation of clinicians while pursuing high-quality, patient-centered care for every patient and family, aligning care with what the patient would want for their loved ones. Its goal is to improve health outcomes for the community by providing comprehensive medical care, education, and support across its facilities and programs.

Send the information to [email protected]! $1M-$9.9M healthcare gifts in June 2026: * Tampa General Hospital Foundation received a $1M gift from Cliff and Linda Levy and their family. The gift supports the rising Taneja Surgical, Neuroscience & Transplant Tower on Tampa General's Davis Islands campus and will name a patient and family waiting room in the tower. * Cambridge Health Alliance raised more than $1M at its annual Art of Healing Gala on June 5 at Encore Boston Harbor. The event honored Epic founder and CEO Judy Faulkner for two decades of philanthropic support, including funding for CHA's newly renovated Birth Center. * Wolfson Children's Hospital Foundation received a $5.5M gift from the Terry Family Foundation, announced June 5. The gift supports the pediatric emergency center within Baptist Health's planned McGehee Family Tower, plus equipment upgrades at the C. Herman & Mary Virginia Terry Heart Institute. Baptist Health matched the commitment at 150%, creating a combined $10M investment. * MUHC Foundation raised $2,223,306 CAD at its 9th annual Le Bal Rouge Gala on June 9 in Montreal. The funds support transformative innovation in health care at the McGill University Health Centre's Glen site, including women's health, precision medicine, and cancer care. * Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation received a $1M gift from the Offerdahl Family Foundation. The gift, made through Richard and Linda Offerdahl, supports the Surgery Enhancement Project at Incline Village Community Hospital and helped the foundation reach its $10M fundraising goal; the hospital's new patient registration area will be named for the Offerdahl family. * UH Samaritan Medical Center received a $1M gift from Bob and Jan Archer, establishing the UH Samaritan Medical Center Fund for Hospital Operations. The fund supports healthcare provider recognition, engagement, and career advancement programs; the hospital's main reception area has been named the Robert M. and Janet L. Archer Lobby. * Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital received a $5M gift from The Fortin Family Foundation. The leadership gift, announced June 23, will expand access to advanced pediatric services for children and families across Montana, Wyoming, and the western Dakotas as part of the Campaign for St. Vincent Regional Hospital. * GBMC HealthCare received an anonymous $6M gift toward the expansion and renovation of its Pediatric Emergency and Inpatient Departments in Baltimore County. The gift moves GBMC closer to its $20M fundraising goal for the project, which includes dedicated behavioral health space for children in crisis.
