Bringing Care to the Community: Supporting Student-Athletes at Chicago State University At Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, expanding access to care means showing up where it matters most - and that includes supporting the next generation of student-athletes. Recently, Genesis partnered with Chicago State University to help provide sports physicals for student-athletes, ensuring they are ready, healthy, and cleared to compete safely in the upcoming seasons. This effort was led by Dr. Hythem Shadid and Elliot Johnson, with the support of a dedicated clinical team focused on delivering efficient and thorough care. This initiative would not have been possible without strong collaboration.
