SoFi Stadium unifies security operations with Genetec platform. 29/07/2026 SoFi Stadium and the wider Hollywood Park development in Los Angeles have consolidated their physical security operations onto a single Genetec Security Center platform, bringing together video surveillance, access control and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) across one of the world's largest sports and entertainment campuses. The deployment spans the 300-acre Hollywood Park site, including the 3.1 million-square-foot SoFi Stadium, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. More than 3,000 cameras, 700 access control readers and a range of other security systems are managed from three security control rooms through a unified interface. According to Genetec, the move has improved collaboration between the venue's IT and security teams. The platform operates on an isolated network connected to centralised servers, allowing IT staff to oversee system performance while security operators focus on incident management and day-to-day operations. Nick Bermensolo, Vice President of Security and Safety at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, said the unified approach has shortened response times by providing operators with a complete view of incidents from a single platform rather than requiring information to be gathered from multiple systems. Paul Maldonado, Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations, added that standardising on Security Center has provided a scalable and cybersecure platform that integrates with the organisation's wider IT infrastructure while reducing management overhead for both departments.
