Overview

Gifted Savings provides high school seniors with a $1,000 investment portfolio plus financial education through partnerships with school districts. Students use a preset set of assets and a custom web app to track performance while completing weekly, bite-sized lessons; the program is for observation and learning with no trading, and ownership becomes fully theirs at 18 after meeting requirements. The model is funded entirely by donors, with 100% of contributions going to student portfolios and no fees charged to students. Its goal is to scale nationally by empowering local donors and schools to fund investment education and financial inclusion for more students.
