The deal expands GoodVets' hospital count from 75 to 116, strengthening its presence in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest. Founded in 2016, GoodVets partners with entrepreneurial veterinarians to develop hospitals in metropolitan markets, providing centralised support whilst maintaining local clinical leadership. WellHaven's hospital teams will retain their operations with additional resources from GoodVets, eventually transitioning to the GoodVets brand. The acquisition aligns with GoodVets' relationship-focused care model, which emphasises strong connections between veterinary teams and pet owners. WellHaven CEO Justin Scambray said the merger will provide hospital teams with broader resources whilst preserving established community relationships.
GoodVets, a national veterinarian partner-led animal hospital platform, expanded to Palm Beach County with the opening of a location owned by Dr. Victoria Tomasino at 9884 S. Jog Road, Suite D6, in Boynton Beach.
