Gunderson Dettmer, a law firm specialising in the innovation economy, reported 13% revenue growth in 2025, increasing from $503 million to $567.5 million. Revenue per lawyer rose 20% to $1.709 million, according to results reported to The American Lawyer. The firm maintained its position as the world's top venture capital law firm, ranking first globally and in the US for total VC deals for the 12th consecutive year in PitchBook's Annual Global League Tables. Gunderson also secured the top spot for combined venture capital and M&A transactions globally. The firm exclusively represents venture and growth equity investors and their portfolio companies. Gunderson Dettmer operates 12 offices across major venture markets worldwide, including Silicon Valley, New York, London, Beijing and Singapore.
