HOPE International provides Christ-centered microfinance to underserved families around the world. It runs two main models: savings groups where members pool savings and borrow from the group fund, and microfinance institutions offering small loans (roughly $100–$2,000) backed by cross-guarantees among entrepreneurs, with biblically based training and mentorship. Loans are repaid with interest and the capital is reinvested into local MFIs to sustain lending, with funds supported by donors, churches, and Homes for HOPE projects. The organization's goal is to reduce poverty and foster economic development by delivering sustainable, faith-guided financial services that empower communities without creating dependency.
