Hawaiʻi Gas

Manufactures and distributes gas across Hawaii

Overview

Hawaiʻi Gas manufactures and distributes gas for homes, businesses and industrial customers in Hawaii, using underground pipelines and a fleet of delivery vehicles. Its West Oahu plant converts a petroleum co-product into synthetic natural gas, which travels through underground pipelines to customers on Oahu. Across the state, the company also supplies propane through utility systems and deliveries to customer tanks and cylinders. Residential and commercial customers pay for gas consumption and for services such as maintaining supply equipment, reading meters and administering their accounts. Hawaiʻi Gas was founded in 1904 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
