Practice Greenhealth, an advocate for sustainability, honors HealthPartners and its 8 hospitals June 25, 2026 BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - HealthPartners has received the System for Change award from Practice Greenhealth, the country's leading organization dedication to environmental stewardship in health care, for the 12th consecutive year. The honor is one of 13 awards recognizing the comprehensive sustainability programs implemented throughout HealthPartners and across all eight of its hospitals. The awards highlight a wide range of sustainability efforts, including work to reduce HealthPartners' carbon footprint, implementing smarter purchasing decisions, advancing green building standards, and promoting sustainable food practices. HealthPartners announces vice president of scheduling and patient access. Carrie Stobba leads efforts to ensure timely and appropriate access to care across HealthPartners' care group. June 24, 2026 BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - HealthPartners today announced that Carrie Stobba has joined the organization as vice president of scheduling and patient access. In her new role, Stobba leads efforts to ensure timely and appropriate access to care across HealthPartners' care group, including primary and specialty care, and hospital-based services. Her work focuses on building simple and predictable systems for patients to get the care they need and want, when and where they want it. "Carrie brings strong experience in making healthcare simpler, more affordable and highly reliable," said Megan Remark, HealthPartners executive vice president and chief operating officer. "She'll help us continue making it easier for patients to access the care they need." Twenty of Stobba's 22 years in healthcare have been in leadership. She returns to the Twin Cities, where she began her career as a physical therapist at North Memorial Health after receiving her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota. Stobba most recently was vice president of medical group services at Advocate Health in Charlotte, N.C., where she led clinic operations, ambulatory data analytics development, patient experience improvement, integrated call center strategy, electronic health record and operational enhancements, and access strategies. HealthPartners appoints Sarah Karlgaard as chief legal officer

HealthPartners has appointed Sarah Karlgaard as senior vice president and chief legal officer, effective 18 May. She will oversee legal, clinical risk management, integrity and compliance, physical security and sustainability functions. Karlgaard brings 20 years of legal experience, including six years as general counsel. Most recently, she served as vice president, general counsel and secretary for FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, where she led the legal function across 23 subsidiaries in the United States, Canada and Latin America. The Minneapolis-based nonprofit operates hospitals, clinics and health plans, serving over 1.4 million patients in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Karlgaard holds a law degree from Drake University Law School and a business degree from Concordia College.

HealthPartners Como Clinic to build on legacy of care, community service. New clinic construction scheduled to begin this summer April 27, 2026 BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - HealthPartners is proud to announce plans for the new HealthPartners Como Clinic in St. Paul, marking the next chapter for the organization's first clinic and a major investment in care for the east metro community. Located just north of the current clinic on the 2500 block of Como Avenue, the new clinic will replace the historic Como Clinic that opened in 1957 when HealthPartners was known as Group Health. Scheduled to open in Fall 2027, the new Como Clinic will significantly expand services, including primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, dentistry and cardiology. In addition, the clinic will introduce new services, including a new TRIA Orthopedics Clinic and Urgent Care, endocrinology and OB-GYN services. Advanced CT and MRI capabilities will also be added, making it one of the most advanced urgent care sites in the east metro. "Our first clinic opened on Como Avenue nearly 70 years ago with a simple but powerful idea: care should be local, accessible and affordable for the people in our community," said Andrea Walsh, president and CEO of HealthPartners. "This new Como Clinic honors that legacy while investing in the future of St. Paul. It brings more services, more convenience and more coordinated care to patients who rely on us every day.
