High Tide closes $29M credit facilities with BMO to cut costs and boost flexibility

High Tide Inc. has closed C$40 million in senior secured credit facilities with Bank of Montreal, increasing financial flexibility and lowering capital costs. The facilities comprise a C$25 million revolving credit facility with a three-year term and a C$15 million delayed-draw term loan. The company used C$6 million from the revolving facility to repay its existing loan with ConnectFirst Credit Union. The remaining funds will support working capital, acquisitions, and investments. The delayed-draw term loan is intended to refinance High Tide's existing C$15 million second-lien debentures. High Tide operates Canna Cabana, Canada's largest cannabis retail chain with 229 domestic locations and one international store. The facilities are secured by substantially all company assets and subject to customary covenants.

High Tide posts record quarterly revenue of $131M, up 30% YoY, with adjusted EBITDA surging 73%

High Tide reported strong second-quarter fiscal 2026 results ending 30 April 2026, with revenues rising 30% year-over-year to C$179.3 million. The cannabis retailer posted record adjusted EBITDA of C$13.9 million, up 73% from the prior year, despite same-store sales declining 1.2% amid industry headwinds. Gross margin improved to 27.0%, the highest in eight quarters, whilst the German medical cannabis distribution segment doubled its margin to 27.0% from 12.0% sequentially. The company generated C$1.5 million in free cash flow during the quarter. High Tide maintained a strong balance sheet with C$36.5 million in cash and positive working capital of C$41.4 million. Analyst Tom Kerr maintains a $5.00 price target.

High Tide hits record Q2 with $179M revenue, up 30% YoY, and secures $40M credit facility

High Tide Inc reported record Q2 2026 results with revenue of $179.3 million, up 30% year-over-year, marking its fastest growth in 11 quarters. The Canadian cannabis retailer achieved gross profit of $48.4 million and adjusted EBITDA of $13.9 million, up 73% year-over-year. The company turned profitable with net income of $0.01 per share, reversing prior-year losses. Its German medical cannabis distribution segment, Remexian, improved gross profit margins to 27% from 12% in Q1, whilst market share increased to 14.1% from 6.5% post-acquisition. High Tide operates 228 stores and plans to add 20-30 more in Canada this year. The company secured a $40 million credit facility with Bank of Montreal and grew its Cabana Club membership to 2.65 million members, up 39% year-over-year.
