Higher Heights

Higher Heights

Nationwide organizing to elect Black women

Overview

Higher Heights is a national organization focused on empowering Black women in politics, with two affiliates: Higher Heights for America (501(c)(4)) and Higher Heights Leadership Fund (501(c)(3)). It builds political power from voting to elected office by investing in the next generation of leaders, mobilizing Black women voters through the #BlackWomenVote campaign, and providing online training, research, and digital campaigns. It differs by being the only national group dedicated exclusively to Black women’s political power, founded by Black women, offering a complete political home with educational and civic engagement components and culture-shifting messaging. Its goal is to increase the number and influence of Black women in elected offices by expanding leadership, political power, and long-term participation in politics.
