Overview

Hill CDC is a Pittsburgh non-profit focused on revitalizing the Greater Hill District through community-led development, guided by the district’s Master Plan. It works across three pillars: People (business support, homeownership readiness through Hill District 100, and arts and culture programs), Place (real estate development and affordable housing, including the New Granada Theater restoration), and Policy (advocacy for equitable development and neighborhood planning). It acts as a facilitator and partner, helping developers and policymakers align with community priorities and providing housing counseling, business workshops, and technical assistance. Its goal is to advance equitable revitalization that preserves culture, builds wealth, and strengthens neighborhood resilience by ensuring residents benefit from development and by preventing displacement.
