Before joining Sequence, Canessa served as Google’s Global Director of Strategy Business Operations, Games from 2017 to 2023, where he led key strategic, operational, marketing, and studio functions for Google's AAA cloud gaming businesses. Notably, Canessa was the GM and Creator of Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) during his time at Microsoft from 2000 to 2007.
