Overview

Huntsville Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit acute care community hospital serving Walker County and surrounding communities in Texas. Its Heart and Vascular Center treats patients in the early stages of a heart attack, and the hospital holds Primary Stroke Center designation. Hospital and outpatient services cover emergency care, surgery, rehabilitation and women's health, while its medical clinic is a teaching site for Sam Houston State University's family medicine residency. Founded in 1927 and headquartered in Huntsville, Texas, the hospital operates through Huntsville Community Hospital, a partnership of Community Hospital Corporation and Walker County Hospital District.
