INNERGY, a business management platform for custom millwork manufacturers, has acquired Archetype, a CAD drafting service provider, and launched "Shop Drawings as a Service" integrated directly into its platform. The acquisition aims to address drafting capacity bottlenecks that 78% of INNERGY customers report as a chronic business issue. Founded by Darren Toy, Archetype employs 220 skilled drafting specialists in the Philippines who produce production-ready 2D and 3D shop drawings for cabinet shops and millwork manufacturers globally. The integration provides INNERGY customers with real-time visibility into drawing production status within their existing ERP system. The companies will continue operating under their existing brands. INNERGY plans to detail the service rollout in coming months, with early-adopter customers already receiving shop drawings since 2025.
INNERGY, a leading ERP software provider for custom millwork and cabinetry manufacturers, has acquired Microvellum, a key player in woodworking design software. This acquisition aims to address industry challenges by integrating INNERGY's ERP capabilities with Microvellum's design tools, enhancing efficiency and collaboration. Both companies will continue to operate separately while developing new features, with existing leadership teams remaining in place.
INNERGY has received a $44 million growth investment from Mainsail Partners. The investment aims to support INNERGY's efforts in offering innovative products and educational resources for millwork shops. Marc Sanderson, CEO of INNERGY, highlighted the benefits of integrating essential workflow processes into one intuitive platform. As part of the investment, Ed Roshitsh will join the INNERGY Board of Directors, alongside Jason Frankel and Jackie Friedman from Mainsail Partners.
