INNERGY

Cloud-based ERP SaaS for woodworking manufacturers

Overview

INNERGY provides a cloud-based ERP for custom woodworking, cabinetry, and engineered-to-order projects, bringing together sales, estimating, project management, manufacturing, and installation in one SaaS platform. It includes a 3D CAD/CAM design module, CRM, blueprint-based takeoff, and manufacturing execution on the shop floor, with real-time tools like a Bottleneck Report to spot issues and support detailed job costing and cross‑department collaboration. The company differentiates itself through deep woodworking expertise, a strong education and training program, and a loyal, low-churn customer base, aided by growth investments and strategic acquisitions. Its goal is to replace scattered spreadsheets and separate systems with a single, accessible platform that helps woodworking businesses run more efficiently and profitably.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • INNERGY took $44 million from Mainsail Partners in August 2024 for product acceleration.
  • Archetype joined on May 27, 2026, giving customers shop drawings inside the ERP.
  • Microvellum's 2026 integration broadens INNERGY's reach across design, quoting, and production.

What critics are saying

  • Hexagon's Cabinet Vision and Cyncly's Mozaik attack INNERGY's core millwork software market.
  • Archetype's 220 drafting staff introduce integration risk and services-margin pressure by 2027.
  • If design and drafting consolidation stalls, Microvellum and Archetype dilute INNERGY's focus.

What makes INNERGY unique

  • Marc Sanderson built INNERGY from a woodworking shop, not a generic software lab.
  • INNERGY now spans ERP, design, Microvellum, and Archetype inside one workflow.
  • INNERGY peAK education and training lock in users beyond software features.

INNERGY acquires Archetype to launch shop drawings service for millwork industry

INNERGY, a business management platform for custom millwork manufacturers, has acquired Archetype, a CAD drafting service provider, and launched "Shop Drawings as a Service" integrated directly into its platform. The acquisition aims to address drafting capacity bottlenecks that 78% of INNERGY customers report as a chronic business issue. Founded by Darren Toy, Archetype employs 220 skilled drafting specialists in the Philippines who produce production-ready 2D and 3D shop drawings for cabinet shops and millwork manufacturers globally. The integration provides INNERGY customers with real-time visibility into drawing production status within their existing ERP system. The companies will continue operating under their existing brands. INNERGY plans to detail the service rollout in coming months, with early-adopter customers already receiving shop drawings since 2025.
