iPipeline

End-to-end life insurance sales platform

Overview

iPipeline provides cloud-based software for the life insurance, pensions, and financial services sectors. Its platform offers an end-to-end solution that supports the entire sales cycle—from initial quotes and illustrations to electronic applications and policy processing. Targeting financial advisers, insurance carriers, and distributors, iPipeline delivers a suite of integrated tools on a subscription/licensing model to help clients streamline operations, cut down on paperwork, and speed up the sales process. Its products include quoting engines, e-applications, and policy processing that can be embedded into a client’s existing workflow. Compared to competitors, iPipeline emphasizes a cohesive, all-in-one platform designed for B2B use in insurance and wealth management, rather than a collection of standalone tools. The company’s goal is to enable faster, more accurate product recommendations and smoother policy administration across the life and retirement product lifecycle.

Additional API-based capabilities will launch in coming months. The interactive testing environment provides access to API documentation, endpoint reviews, and demo testing with sample data. iPipeline, established in 1995, serves over 100 insurance carriers and 2,500 broker-dealers globally. iPipeline and FIDx launch IX Express to bring digital annuity distribution to small and mid-market firms

iPipeline and Fiduciary Exchange (FIDx) have launched IX Express, a solution designed to bring digital annuity distribution to small and mid-market broker-dealers and financial institutions. The out-of-the-box platform integrates FIDx's Insurance Exchange with iPipeline's AFFIRM for Annuities solution. IX Express delivers a unified annuity experience that eliminates operational friction and reduces processing errors. The standardised approach shortens implementation timelines from six to twelve months to just weeks, removing cost and complexity barriers that previously limited smaller firms' access to digital distribution. For insurance carriers, IX Express reduces not-in-good-order rates, lowers processing costs and expands distribution into underserved market segments as the industry shifts away from paper-based processes towards digital-only new business submissions.
