ITSS designs, builds, and supports hazard-monitoring railway safety equipment throughout the lifecycle. Its flagship products are PEGASUS, a Hot Axle Box Detector (HABD) and Hot Wheel Detector (HWD) that uses infrared and fiber-optic sensors to monitor axle-box and brake temperatures, and AGUILA, a Wheel Impact Load Detector (WILD) and Weighing-in-Motion (WIM) system that detects wheel impacts and measures axle weights.
