iboss provides a cloud-based security platform called iboss Zero Trust SSE that replaces traditional VPNs, proxy appliances, and VDI. It runs in the cloud to inspect traffic—including encrypted data via HTTPS decryption—and applies malware defense, compliance policies, and data loss prevention to every transaction, while offering seamless remote access for users to both on-premises and cloud applications. The service consolidates multiple security functions into a single cloud platform, reducing or eliminating legacy hardware and scaling security as needed. Its goal is to replace traditional security infrastructure with a scalable cloud security service that protects remote access and lowers costs while reducing the risk of data breaches and data loss.
