How Icertis customers are becoming 'Agents of Impact' with contract intelligence.

How Icertis customers are becoming 'Agents of Impact' with contract intelligence. June 11, 2026 Bernadette Bulacan Chief Evangelist, Icertis Icertis Inc. just hosted its biggest Icertis Connect yet, with more than 400 customers, partners, and Icertians coming together in Boston to help shape the future of AI-native contract intelligence. Over the course of a few energizing days, the event became more than a gathering - it was a clear signal of where enterprise contracting is headed next. From product innovation to customer conversations to peer-to-peer learning, Connect underscored that contract intelligence is moving from vision to reality at enterprise scale. Icertis Inc. unveiled a reimagined contracting experience powered by Vera, including advances across Engage, Operate, and Analyze - designed to help organizations draft faster, execute with greater precision, and surface insights that drive measurable business outcomes. Customer feedback was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Like Icertis Inc., they see enterprise AI for contracting is no longer about isolated use cases. It is about building a system that understands contract context and helps businesses turn agreements into action. Icertis Inc. also used the opportunity to introduce its new Icertis brand, built for this next chapter. The refreshed brand reflects the warmth and energy Icertis Inc. bring to every customer interaction, combined with hand-crafted elements that celebrate the humans at the heart of every agreement. The theme of the event itself was Agents of Impact - a reminder that while AI is transforming contracting, it is the people in the room who drive meaningful change inside their organizations every day. It is a fitting expression of an AI-native, human-first company - one that recognizes contracts are not just documents, but the foundation of relationships, trust, and business outcomes. Icertis Inc. were honored to host best-selling author and renowned futurist Heather McGowan as its keynote speaker, who brought home the human element of the AI revolution. Heather unpacked for Icertis Inc. how community unlocks its potential and how Icertis Inc. can position technology as a catalyst for human flourishing - not a replacement for human agency. What a perfect summary of what its Boston gathering was all about! As I reflect on these energizing few days in Boston, three themes stand out most: * AI has graduated from the pilot phase. Its customers represent a significant share of the Fortune 500, and when they talk about AI, they are not talking about one-off proofs of concept. They are focused on scale, repeatability, and governance. What came through clearly at Connect is that leading enterprises are moving beyond experimentation and finding real value in AI-native contracting processes that can be operationalized across teams and workflows. The conversation has shifted from "Can this work?" to "How do we make this work everywhere it matters?" * Partners are critical to making transformation real. Its partners had a strong presence in Boston, and their perspective was essential. Partners joined Icertis and successful customers on stage throughout the event to share what worked, what didn't and how those learnings are propelling innovation forward. These sessions reinforced an important point: technology alone does not deliver transformation. It takes the right expertise, the right operating model, and the ability to connect contracting to the broader systems that run the business. Again, it takes HUMAN intelligence, first and foremost. That ecosystem mindset is becoming even more important as enterprises adopt AI at scale. * Community remains at the center of Connect. It is all in the name. Connect is not just about customers connecting with Icertis - it is also about customers connecting with one another. Icertis Inc. had a number of customer-led sessions that currated true peer-to-peer conversations and learnings. That exchange of ideas is part of what makes this community special. It is a place where customers can see what is possible, learn from one another, and help shape the future of contract intelligence together. What Icertis Inc. saw in Boston was not just momentum for Icertis - it was momentum for a new era of enterprise contracting. As organizations look for ways to move faster, reduce risk, and unlock more value from the agreements that run their business, AI-native contract intelligence is becoming a strategic priority. Icertis Connect 2026 made that unmistakably clear, and I'm leaving Boston energized by what its customers, partners, and teams are building together next. Curious what customers thought of the event? Hear from a few of them here:

Deeper collaboration, relentless focus: reflections from Icertis Partner Enablement Day.

Deeper collaboration, relentless focus: reflections from Icertis Partner Enablement Day. At the first-ever Icertis Partner Enablement Day, partners and leaders gathered in Boston to explore AI-native transformation, advisory-led selling, and how collaboration drives better customer outcomes. June 9, 2026 Sahiba Nagpaul Associate Vice President, Partner Success & SolEx Services Success John Held Associate Vice President, Partner Marketing Last week, Icertis brought together over 30 system integrators and consulting partners for its inaugural Icertis Partner Enablement Day, designed to increase the value that customers receive from their investments in contract intelligence. The conversations centered on navigating rapid market changes, with a strong focus on how AI shapes the entire Icertis-partner collaboration. While AI discussions often default to conversations about tech, in Boston Icertis Inc. continually returned to the human attributes that make transformations a success. At Icertis, Icertis Inc. believe the most impactful intelligence is also the most human, and there was a clear consensus that key personal attributes are needed to drive its joint success. These attributes include: * Deep curiosity and commitment to continuous learning * Speed and adaptability * Freedom from legacy thinking * Entrepreneurial mindset * A strong sense of urgency * Relentless focus on the customer * Team mentality working towards successful customer outcomes Successful contract intelligence transformations hinge as much on these mindsets as technical skills and capabilities, and Icertis came out of Partner Enablement Day committed to enabling and reinforcing them throughout the partner journey. Elevating Expertise: From Implementation to Advisory Another key takeaway from partners during the event is the ever-growing importance of advisory-led selling. It was interesting to learn from partners that many advisors begin solving customer problems by reverse-engineering manual contracting processes. There was mutual agreement that customers are better served when pain points are identified and success criteria and outcomes are defined, especially as AI further drives narratives and positions as a tool for advisors to leverage. A Platform Ready for the AI Moment Partner feedback during the product-focused sessions reinforced the fact that the new Icertis Vera Foundation will deliver compelling customer value, giving partners more confidence to lead with AI-native transformation. Partners also emphasized the expanding role of CLM in the enterprise. CLM has evolved from a standalone capability into a core orchestrator of enterprise processes. End-to-end integration, deep data connectivity, and alignment across the enterprise are better understood by customers than ever before. This evolution opens new opportunities for partners to expand their role and deliver broader transformation value. Balancing Innovation and Delivery Reality Finally, the event acknowledged the real-world challenges of where and how to start with AI in a real customer business. Based on decades of refinement, partners were clear in their feedback that the Icertis platform with Vera capabilities delivers out-of-the-box functionality that other solutions cannot match, and further, that generic AI can only "hallucinate" outcomes that approach the capabilities delivered by Icertis and partners. Final Takeaway Icertis Partner Enablement Day wasn't just about enablement; it was about the evolution and constant innovation that are incumbent on Icertis and its partners in the age of AI. To drive successful outcomes for customers and partners, Icertis is committed to partner success through strong collaboration, continuous two-way feedback, and alignment with industry and domain experts to maintain its market leadership and deliver the best possible customer outcomes. That said, the path forward is clear: AI-centric training that develops the desired characteristics in every partner to drive success through deeper collaboration, earlier engagement, and a shared, relentless focus on customer outcomes.
