Inbank

Regional community bank serving businesses

Overview

InBank is a commercial bank focused on serving businesses in Colorado and New Mexico through local, relationship-driven banking. Its products include traditional business banking services such as loans, deposits, and cash management, plus a nationwide SBA lending arm called INTQ Financial to support small and mid-size businesses. The bank combines a long history (rooted in 1918) with a modern approach that prioritizes local decision-making and personalized service rather than chasing a national footprint. This differentiates InBank from larger, impersonal banks and from other regional lenders by pairing community roots with scalable SBA financing and a growing team of experienced bankers. The company’s goal is to be the go-to financial partner for the businesses shaping its communities, helping entrepreneurs grow through accessible credit, tailored banking solutions, and deep local expertise.

First National of Nebraska Buys InBankshares for $204M

First National of Nebraska Buys InBankshares for $204M. First National of Nebraska and its subsidiary FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha) have agreed to acquire Denver-based InBankshares Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary, InBank, in an all-cash transaction. InBankshares estimates its common stockholders will receive total consideration of $200 million to $204 million, although the final amount will depend on factors including tangible equity at closing and any special dividend paid immediately beforehand. InBank's conversion and branch rebranding to FNBO are expected in the second half of 2027. InBank is an independent community bank with $1.4 billion in assets that provides commercial, business and personal banking services. The acquisition will add nine Colorado branches along the Front Range, establishing new FNBO locations in Denver, Colorado Springs and southern Colorado. Combined with FNBO's 21 existing branches in northern Colorado, including Fort Collins, Boulder, Greeley and Loveland, the deal will expand FNBO's Colorado network to 30 branches.
