I started my Incedo journey in 2017 with the vision of building a world-class firm - an Indian multinational enterprise. Today, with this office, I feel Nitin Seth has taken a giant stride toward that vision. This office is not just a space. It is a beautiful embodiment of the ambition, hopes, and hard work of many people. It is not just a workplace - it is home, and a place of worship. Incedo House is not just a new office. It reflects the udaan and sankalp of Incedo - its shared aspirations and resolve taking visible form. Let me share with you the Why, What, and How of Incedo House. WHY In anything one does, why is very important. In business, there are two fundamental pillars: clients and people. In the AI age, both become even more important. Let me focus on the people side. Nitin Seth is in the AI age. Paradoxically, that makes the human edge even more important. In business, especially in the IT industry, the most important expectation from people has traditionally been execution. Tasks are defined, and you are expected to do them well, with discipline and measurable outcomes. The AI age is changing this well-established way of working. AI is becoming extremely good at execution, and a lot of what Nitin Seth do on a day-to-day basis - software development, data modeling, operational tasks - AI will do better over time. In addition, the pace of change and innovation in the AI age is so tremendous, as Nitin Seth has seen even in recent months, that you cannot rely on any one business model, product, or IP remaining defensible for too long. So what is defensible? What is the winning formula in the AI age? It is my firm belief that the winning formula in the AI age is talent. In a world where business and product cycles are getting compressed, success comes from staying ahead of the curve, responding quickly, and driving superior and faster innovation. And that happens through high-quality talent operating at its highest potential, in an engaging and energizing team environment. Therefore, the expectations, the skills, the mindsets, and the ways of working will all have to change dramatically. The most important expectation will be imagination - the creativity and thought process to envision not just new processes, but new products, and even new business models. This requires free thinking, first-principles problem-solving, experimentation, and a fail-fast culture. It is not just about humans in the loop. It is about humans above the loop - a few steps ahead of AI. This is inspiring, but it is not easy. It will require all of Nitin Seth to raise its game and operate at its highest human potential. There are four: Creativity, Collaboration, Connection, and Culture. Creativity Creativity needs openness. This office is as open as you can get. It has open seating and no cubicles, to encourage non-hierarchical thinking and working. And to further reinforce that openness, you will see abundant natural light flowing through every floor and every part of the office. Collaboration There is an abundance of meeting rooms. Nitin Seth already saw the value of that last week in the week-long workshop for its flagship platform, Lighthouse. So many colleagues came together, worked through concepts, and built working prototypes - all in one week. It needed a space like this to make that level of creativity and collaboration possible. Connection There are two social hubs on each floor to encourage human connection. Some of the greatest learning in my career has come not in classrooms, but through conversations. Culture This office is rooted in its values. It reflects a balance of modern and traditional, science and art - cutting-edge, yet grounded in its culture and traditions. This office is AI-native and digital-first, but you will also see artwork, warmth, and a deep respect for its roots. HOW The building of Incedo House has been a massive project, executed with extraordinary speed and quality. * Project timeline: approximately 12 months * Design phase: 4.5 months * Build phase: 8 months * Partners: 4 build partners and multiple other vendors * On average, 400+ workers contributed to bringing this project to life But this is much more than a large project. It is a labour of love. The most striking thing about this office, for me, is not just the design, the infrastructure, the views, or the artwork - though all of them are spectacular. It is the positive energy and thoughtfulness you can feel in every aspect of this space. This has not been built as an office that feels impersonal. It has been built as a home that feels deeply personal. For that, the credit goes to my much better half, Arpna, and her core team. They have put in a truly superhuman effort. The love, care, hard work, and attention to detail that have gone into this are incredible. Not just the core team, but many more Incedoers got involved and contributed. And a big shout-out as well to its partners, who operated not as vendors, but as part of the Incedo family. That is how Nitin Seth work with its clients, and I am so happy that Nitin Seth could create the same mindset and spirit with its partner ecosystem as well. Great institutions are often defined by great spaces that inspire and elevate Nitin Seth. I first felt that when I walked into my alma mater, IIT Delhi. In the corporate world, Google did it. In India, Infosys did it. Now, it is Incedo's turn. In closing, when Nitin Seth had an informal open house in this space last week, one of its colleagues said that this place makes Nitin Seth feel invincible.
