insightsoftware launches three specialized technology brands.

insightsoftware launches three specialized technology brands. Focused solutions empower finance, HR, and technology leaders to reduce complexity and act with confidence. September 16, 2026 09:00 ET | Source: insightsoftware * insightsoftware has launched three new specialized brands to better address the distinct needs of finance, HR, and technology leaders navigating AI-driven transformation. * Lineos, the new brand for the Office of the CFO, helps finance teams improve forecasting, reporting, and compliance through a unified, AI-powered platform. * Certent gives HR teams a scalable, easy-to-use platform for managing employee equity plans. * Simba delivers embedded intelligence and data and analytics solutions that help technology teams provide trusted, consistent, and verifiable AI-powered insights. RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - insightsoftware, the leading global provider of EPM, equity management, and data and analytics software, today announced the launch of three new distinct brands: Lineos for the office of the CFO, Certent for equity management, and Simba for embedded intelligence and data and analytics. insightsoftware now serves as the portfolio company and maintains its brand and products across various markets. insightsoftware's new structure organizes its portfolio into dedicated brands to address the distinct operational challenges finance, technology, and HR leaders face amid AI-driven transformation: reducing data complexity, building trust in AI outputs, and enabling faster decision-making without vendor lock-in. The company is led by CEO and Chairman of the Board, Chris Jurasek, and supported by a deep leadership bench including Andrew Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer; Jennifer Warawa, President; and Chad Theule, Chief Customer Officer. "For nearly a decade, insightsoftware has built a world-class portfolio spanning the full finance workflow, bringing together 31 technology companies and earning the trust of more than 34,000 customers," said Chris Jurasek, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at insightsoftware. "Having built significant scale through M&A, we are now focused on accelerating organic growth through new product innovation - investing heavily in AI, product modernization, and a simpler SaaS experience that helps customers realize value faster. We continue to gain momentum, with our EPM business adding more than 1,000 new customer logos this year alone. The launch of Lineos, Certent, and Simba represents the next stage of our transformation, introducing these focused brands with the domain expertise and innovation required to solve the distinct challenges facing CFOs, HR leaders, and CTOs." Today, Lineos and Simba are also releasing two research reports underscoring this critical market shift: * Lineos' research finds that while 68% of finance professionals believe AI could improve the accuracy of financial data, nearly a quarter (21%) hardly trust or do not trust AI outputs at all. This adds another layer of complexity to financial operations. * Simba's research reveals that 87% of organizations spend at least 20 hours per month preparing data for AI consumption, driving significant operational burdens. "Fragmented systems and disparate data sets pose significant challenges in achieving meaningful and impactful insights, leading to inconsistencies and different 'versions of the truth' when trying to reconcile information across the enterprise," said Howard Dresner, Founder and Chief Research Officer, Dresner Advisory. "Addressing fragmentation is essential for creating a path to meaningful and impactful insights and enabling organizations to make optimal and credible data-driven decisions." insightsoftware is now structured to mirror how finance, HR, and data leaders operate: * Lineos, the new brand for CFOs, offers a unified platform that gives finance teams a single line of sight across the full finance workflow, with AI surfacing insights that drive action. Lineos allows finance teams to work faster and improve forecasting, reporting, and compliance - all while saving time and resources. * Certent, the new brand for HR leaders, delivers an employee equity management platform built for simplicity and scale, for companies at every stage. Certent grows alongside businesses without any need for migration or broker lock-in, providing reliable reporting and an interface that makes managing equity plans easy. * Simba, the new brand for CTOs, helps builders embed trusted intelligence into every product, so they can deliver consistent, accurate answers in a world running on AI. Without moving or copying data, Simba provides access to the right data at the right time, ensuring outputs are consistent, verifiable, and defensible. * insightsoftware maintains its brand across various markets, with dozens of products still available, supported, and receiving investment. insightsoftware also becomes the portfolio company, providing unified infrastructure, ongoing innovation investment, and shared customer support across its three new specialized brands. About insightsoftware insightsoftware helps finance, technology, and HR leaders turn complexity into clarity and data into confident action. Grounded in decades of deep domain expertise and trusted by some of the world's most respected organizations, insightsoftware brings together the critical capabilities modern businesses need through three focused brands: Lineos, which gives CFOs the strategic line of sight to lead with confidence; Certent, which empowers HR leaders with scalable, future-ready equity management; and Simba, which equips CTOs with intelligence they can trust at every turn. Together they form a portfolio built for a world where the future of business is defined not by how much data you have, but by how well you use it.

As organizations face growing pressure to adopt AI, many lack the trusted, connected data required to support it. Jet Analytics provides the infrastructure layer that makes AI possible, delivering a trusted, governed data foundation that accelerates time to value up to 10x faster than building it manually." "We are excited to expand our partnership with insightsoftware, deepening a long-standing collaboration that brings even greater value to our customers," said Mosthagir Matin, Chief Revenue Officer at TimeXtender. "Together, we are delivering a unified, future-ready analytics platform that empowers organizations to move faster, gain clearer insights, and make more confident, data-driven decisions." Built for the shift to cloud-first data platforms, New Jet Analytics offers continuous updates, first-party native connectors, and a consistent semantic layer that enhances Microsoft Fabric and Power BI performance and reliability. Bitwarden scrubs 'Always free' and 'Inclusion' values from its website as longtime execs step down.

Bitwarden scrubs 'Always free' and 'Inclusion' values from its website as longtime execs step down. What is going on with the beloved open-source password manager? Bitwarden, the maker of a popular free password manager and other security solutions, is quietly making changes. In February, longtime CEO Michael Crandell moved to an advisory role, according to LinkedIn, with no announcement from the company. His replacement, Michael Sullivan, former CEO of both Acquia and Insightsoftware, touts his experience with "all facets of mergers and acquisitions" on his own LinkedIn page, including experience working with leading private equity firms. CFO Stephen Morrison also left Bitwarden in April, replaced by former InVision CEO Michael Shenkman. Both Crandell and Morrison joined the company in 2019. Kyle Spearrin, who started Bitwarden as a fun hobby project in 2015, remains the company's CTO. Meanwhile, Bitwarden has made some subtle tweaks to its website. The page for its personal password manager no longer includes the phrase "Always free." Previously this appeared under the "Pick a plan" section partway down the page, but that section no longer mentions the free plan, though it remains available elsewhere on the page. Bitwarden made this change in mid-April, according to the Internet Archive. Update: After publication, an employee on the Bitwarden subreddit said that "Always free" had been restored on its pricing page, calling it an "oversight" by the marketing team. The product page for Bitwarden's personal password manager remains unchanged. Fast Company asked Bitwarden if it would commit to not removing any features from its free plan in the future. Bitwarden's Chief Customer Officer, Gary Orenstein, says via email that the company "remains committed to offering a robust free plan that delivers meaningful value for individuals."
