The JPY3 billion ($20 million) fund, launched in April with SBI Investment as general partner, targets workplace creativity, digital work and digital inclusion. This marks the fund's first investment. Intellect provides mental-health support including self-care, coaching, counselling and workforce analytics. The platform operates in over 100 countries and 120 languages, serving more than 4 million users. Ricoh plans to combine Intellect's expertise with data from its workplace-services business. Founded in 2019, Intellect has raised over $22 million from investors including Tiger Global, Y Combinator and Insignia Ventures Partners.
Intellect, a Singapore-based mental health app, has reached over one million users just six months after its launch. The startup aims to reduce barriers to mental health care in Asia. Additionally, Google has recognized Intellect's consumer app as one of the best personal growth apps of 2020. The company has also successfully closed its seed funding round.
