ICF sets the gold standard for coach training and credentials. It accredits coaching training programs to ensure quality, and offers credentialing for individual coaches to enhance credibility. It also runs a global membership program for coaches, providing resources and professional development events. Beyond services, ICF engages in thought leadership on how coaching can advance social progress and sustainability, helping coaching become more widely adopted across corporate, educational, and non-profit sectors. In short, ICF earns revenue from training-provider accreditation fees, individual credentialing fees, and membership dues, while guiding the profession through standards, certification, and global community-building.
