Intersport

Sporting goods brand management & purchasing

Overview

Intersport International Corporation (IIC) acts as the brand management and purchasing arm for the INTERSPORT Group. It coordinates brand strategy, sourcing, and product assortment for the network of 5,260 specialist sporting goods stores across 40 countries, enabling global omnichannel sales with a EUR 14.1 billion annual footprint (2025). The core product is a centralized governance and procurement system: it defines brand guidelines, negotiates with suppliers, curates product ranges, and supports stores worldwide with consistent, competitively sourced goods and digital platforms. This differentiates IIC from competitors through its scale, integrated brand management and centralized buying for a large, global store network, rather than just operating a single retailer. Its goal is to provide cohesive brand stewardship and efficient purchasing to power INTERSPORT’s global omnichannel retail network.
