JAMS Software has launched JAMS Incident Management, an on-call alerting and incident management tool for IT operations and engineering teams. The product delivers alerts through voice, SMS, push, email, Microsoft Teams, and Slack, escalating through on-call rotations until acknowledged. The software integrates with monitoring and IT service management systems via email, webhook, or REST API. It includes prebuilt two-way integrations for Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, Zendesk, and JAMS Scheduler. JAMS Incident Management is free for up to five users with no time limit. Paid plans start at $6 per user monthly for the Starter tier (up to 25 users) and $16 monthly for Professional (up to 50 users), both billed annually. On-call scheduling and escalation policies are included in paid plans. The product became generally available on 1 September 2026, following a customer early access period in August.

JAMS Software has launched two AI capabilities for enterprise job scheduling: JAX, an AI agent integrated into its web client, and JAMS MCP, a connector based on the Model Context Protocol standard. Both tools are available at no additional cost to JAMS Web customers. JAX enables IT teams to query jobs, troubleshoot failures, and access support in plain language. JAMS MCP brings these capabilities to external AI coding tools including Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, and Claude Desktop. Both features operate within customers' own networks and act with individual user permissions. Customers can choose their AI model, including local models that keep operational data onshore. JAMS does not train on customer data. The tools address the challenge of managing automation environments that grow faster than IT teams can scale. Every action requires user approval, and all operations are logged in dedicated audit trails.
