Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • May 2026 partnership with Solana Company expands institutional validators across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan.
  • March 2026 SolanaFloor acquisition restores a major Solana news desk after Step Finance's exploit.
  • JTX launch and July 2026 buybacks strengthen JTO demand and treasury optics.

What critics are saying

  • Jito's fee engine depends on Solana activity; weaker volume instantly cuts DAO revenue.
  • JTX and buyback rhetoric invite SEC scrutiny over staking yields, token promotion, and market manipulation.
  • If Solana deprecates Jito-style MEV auctions, Jito loses its core cash engine.

What makes Jito Foundation unique

  • JitoSOL, BAM, and validator tooling turn staking yield into a full Solana market layer.
  • JIP-24 routes protocol fees to JTO treasury, aligning users, validators, and tokenholders.
  • Jito Foundation controls ecosystem grants, partnerships, and media through SolanaFloor and JitoDAO.

BatX Energies raises $11M Series A led by IvyCap to expand battery recycling capacity

BatX Energies, a battery recycling and critical minerals recovery startup, has raised Rs 105 crore ($11 million) in a Series A round led by IvyCap Ventures. Existing investors Zephyr Peacock, Mankind Pharma Family Office, Excel Industries Family Office and JITO also participated. The Gurugram-based company, founded by Utkarsh Singh and Vikrant Singh, recovers materials including lithium, cobalt, nickel and graphite from end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap. BatX operates a commercial-scale recycling platform and currently supplies recovered battery-grade materials to the market. The funding will expand recycling and refining capacity, strengthen research and development, and accelerate development of a domestic supply chain for battery materials. The company is also developing Cathode Active Materials for lithium-ion battery manufacturing.
