Boku supports JustPark and Virgin Media O2 as direct carrier billing launches in parking payments.

Boku supports JustPark and Virgin Media O2 as direct carrier billing launches in parking payments. Boku, also with Just Park and Parcmi, launch direct carrier billing (DCB) as a simpler payment option for all O2 customers This will initially be accessible across car parks in London and Hereford ahead of a wider national rollout London, 14 July 2026 - Boku, the local payments partner for global commerce, is supporting a new direct carrier billing launch with JustPark, Virgin Media O2 and Parcmi, bringing mobile account-based payments into parking. This solution will allow all O2 customers to pay for parking through direct carrier billing at an initial group of car parks in London and Hereford. The launch is being delivered through a collaboration between Parcmi, JustPark, Virgin Media O2 and Boku. Direct carrier billing has traditionally been concentrated in digital entertainment, including gaming, music and streaming services. This new launch takes the payment method into a practical, everyday use case where reducing steps in the payment journey can improve convenience for consumers, and conversion for merchants. For carriers, the model also creates an opportunity to expand the use of direct carrier billing beyond its established base and introduce the service to new users. Boku provides the payment infrastructure that enables direct carrier billing to be used in new merchant categories, helping partners make familiar local payment methods available in more places. Stuart Neal, CEO at Boku, said: "Direct carrier billing has already proven its value in the entertainment sector, but its potential is much bigger than that. Parking is a strong example of where a preferred mobile payment method can remove unnecessary friction from an everyday transaction. This partnership shows how carrier billing can move into new categories, create new opportunities for carriers, and give consumers a simpler way to pay." Matt Hemingway, Head of Network-As-A-Service at Virgin Media O2, said: "We're always looking at ways to make mobile services more useful for our customers in their day-to-day lives. Through this collaboration, we become the first mobile network operator in the UK to offer our customers a simple and convenient way to pay for parking through their mobile account, while also helping us explore new opportunities for direct carrier billing beyond traditional digital services." Jonathan Hampson, Chief Commercial Officer at JustPark, said: "Parking payments should be quick, simple and intuitive. By teaming up with Boku, VMO2 and Parcmi, JustPark has developed another way to reduce friction for drivers and give customers a convenient way to pay." Michael H. BigBee, Director at Parcmi, said: "Direct carrier billing is transforming parking payments by allowing drivers to charge parking fees to their mobile phone accounts. This removes the need for cash or cards, speeding up transactions. It improves convenience and enhances seamless, contactless parking experiences." NOTES TO EDITORS About Boku Inc. Boku Inc. (AIM: BOKU) is the local payments partner for global commerce. Through a single integration, merchants can access over seven billion customer accounts across more than 60 countries, through payment methods including digital wallets, account-to-account schemes, buy-now-pay-later, and direct carrier billing. Boku pairs that network with cross-border money movement, embedded bundling, and the licensing and operational infrastructure to help merchants acquire and retain customers in markets where they have no local presence. Boku's platform serves leading global merchants including Spotify, Meta, Microsoft, Netflix, and Tencent. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in London, Boku is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (BOKU). About VMO2 Virgin Media O2 launched on 1 June 2021, combining the UK's largest and most reliable mobile network with a fully gigabit broadband network. The company has around 46 million UK mobile connections and 5.8m fixed line customers using its award-winning broadband, mobile, TV and home phone services. Its fixed network covers more than half of the country (18.8m premises serviceable) alongside a mobile network that covers 99% of the nation's population. The company is on track to bring 5G to all populated areas by end 2030 and already offers 5G outdoor coverage to more than 87% of the UK population. Intuit Dome selects JustPark as Official Parking Partner.

Intuit Dome selects JustPark as Official Parking Partner. JustPark's sophisticated pre-book and data-driven platform to power frictionless fan arrival at one of the most technologically advanced venues in the world. June 8, 2026 - Inglewood, CA: Intuit Dome, the home of the LA Clippers, and one of the most technologically advanced sports and entertainment venues globally, has expanded its partnership JustPark, naming the company its Official Parking Partner. The partnership builds on a relationship that began ahead of the venue's opening in August 2024, with JustPark's Prime and Suite platforms powering parking operations from day one. Under the expanded partnership agreement, Intuit Dome will now deploy JustPark's Passes platform, enabling fans to purchase parking at the same time and in the same place they buy tickets. With Passes in place, fans can secure parking in advance and have another way to enter garages frictionlessly. Integrated wayfinding tools and automated access control will deliver clearer directions across the arena, increase operational throughput, reduce congestion and provide greater certainty before fans even arrive on the day. "Intuit Dome was built to set a new benchmark for how fans experience live sports and entertainment," said Scott Sonnenberg, Chief Commercial Officer, Intuit Dome and LA Clippers. "As we continue to bring the most advanced partners into our technology ecosystem, it was important to select a parking platform that could match our ambition. JustPark has been with us since opening and expanding that relationship allows us to deliver a fully integrated parking experience for fans and receive deeper insights to support our operations." Beyond the fan-facing benefits, JustPark will serve as a single system of record for parking operations across the site. JustPark's Suite data will integrate into Intuit Dome's master business intelligence platform, providing a holistic view of parking activity alongside in-venue performance metrics. These insights better inform decision-making, support increased revenue generation, and allow operations teams to anticipate demand, allocate resources with greater precision, and manage Inglewood traffic flow more effectively. The partnership also further signifies JustPark's continual growth in the Entertainment District located near Los Angeles International Airport. Nearby Kia Forum, SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park Casino all utilize JustPark technology, creating a unified and tech-first parking ecosystem across the district. "Since opening, we've worked closely with Intuit Dome to power parking operations at one of the most advanced arenas in the country," said Charley DeBow, Managing Director, North America at JustPark. "Being named the Official Parking Partner reflects the strength of that collaboration. Introducing Passes brings pre-booked parking into the ticketing flow, giving fans greater control over arrival while helping venue teams plan operations with more precision." JustPark already powers parking operations for more than half of professional sports teams in the United States and supports over 100 universities nationwide. Bringing that proven scale and operational reliability to Intuit Dome ensures the venue is building its fan journey on a platform trusted across the country's largest live-event environments. Parking passes are available to purchase now via the Intuit Dome website and JustPark's custom landing page.

How VCU Went Cashless and Simplified Event Parking

How VCU went cashless and simplified event parking. Jake Hoffman February 26, 2026 Surrounded by downtown Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University has about 50,000 students, faculty, and staff packed into a tight campus footprint that makes parking and transportation management a constant logistical challenge. Add a basketball game or an event at the nearby theater, and the parking complexity is magnified by thousands of additional visitors. Historically, VCU's parking operations were almost entirely cash-based, creating an inefficient and tedious customer experience. The need for a robust, user-friendly, and cashless solution for both daily visitors and event attendees was critical. Plus, the university needed to address the cumbersome pre-sale event parking process. VCU partnered with JustPark to establish a modern cashless payment option and a seamless approach to pre-sale event parking. The challenge: from cash-only to customer-first. VCU's existing parking system presented several operational hurdles: * Cash Dependence: In-lane payments were cash-only, creating slow transactions, increasing security risks, and lacking modern convenience. * Inefficient Pre-Sale: The separate pre-sale system for major events was complicated, requiring guests to create accounts and add vehicle details (a process that was neither efficient nor user-friendly). * Lack of Data: The cash-based system offered no robust reporting or historical metrics, hindering the ability of the Parking & Transportation department to make informed future operational decisions. The solution: seamless integration and Event Pass. VCU first implemented the JustPark platform to enable in-lane credit card processing, successfully transitioning the entire operation to a cashless environment. To solve the pre-sale headache for high-traffic events, VCU then adopted JustPark's EventPass solution. The system streamlined the entire customer journey: * Easy Pre-Purchase: Guests can purchase parking online and receive a simple QR code, eliminating the need to create complex accounts or input vehicle information. * Operational Simplicity: Parking attendants simply scan the code for entry, ensuring quick and efficient throughput, even for crowds of 8,000 people attending a basketball game. * Exception Handling: The system allows for quick exceptions for monthly subscribers or donors, ensuring seamless access for all user groups. The results: data-driven operations and enhanced Customer Experience. The most profound shift since partnering with JustPark has been in VCU's operational control and ability to plan for the future. * Operational Efficiency: Pre-paid guests show a QR code and are processed instantly. Cash handling is eliminated. * Customer Experience: Drivers no longer face slow lines or the frustration of complicated online sign-ups, leading to "no complaints" from customers. * Data Visibility: The platform's robust dashboard allows the team to download historical reports that were previously impossible to generate. * Strategic Planning: The ability to pull detailed, three-year historical data enables the department to "create better opportunities in the future" and make data-driven changes. By simplifying transactions and adopting the Event Pass solution, VCU successfully migrated from a frustrating, cash-heavy system to a modern, user-centric, and data-rich operation, solidifying JustPark as an easy and supportive partner. February 3, 2026 - Dallas, TX: JustPark, the leading event parking technology provider in the United States has announced an expanded partnership with American Airlines Center (AAC), home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. The deal, which also sees JustPark become an Official Sponsor of AAC, builds on a long-standing relationship between the two organizations and introduces new parking solutions, designed to further enhance the fan experience at every game. American Airlines Center has utilized JustPark's Prime payment and access devices for more than a decade to support on-site parking operations. As part of the new partnership agreement, the venue has introduced JustPark Passes, a proprietary portfolio of digital parking passes specifically designed for events. EventPass is a dynamic reservation platform that allows fans to pre-book official stadium parking and benefit from helpful digital tools such as color coding and lot wayfinding, without the need to download any additional apps. AAC will also introduce CompPass, a sophisticated digital distribution system for managing parking passes for employees, VIPs, and suite holders. "American Airlines Center is focused on removing friction from every step of a fan's visit," said Craig Courson, Chief Executive Officer at American Airlines Center. "Expanding our partnership with JustPark allows us to modernize how parking is managed and purchased. Offering pre-booked parking on their terms also provides a more predictable, less stressful start to every visit." By combining pre-bookable parking, inventory management and on-site access control, the upgraded parking system delivers clear benefits for both fans and venue operators. Fans benefit from reduced congestion around AAC, a simpler arrival process and less stress thanks to the certainty of a guaranteed space. For operators, the system creates new revenue opportunities and more efficient on-site operations, with advance insight into demand enabling better resource planning on game days. With JustPark's white labeling capabilities and integrations, AAC can now also pre-sell parking on their own website and app, as well as in Ticketmaster's checkout flow. "As a Dallas-headquartered company, JustPark has worked with American Airlines Center for many years, and this next phase reflects a shared commitment to strengthening event-day operations and guest experience," said Charley DeBow, Managing Director, North America at JustPark. " Our distribution model allows AAC to reach fans earlier, drive conversion, and deliver a smoother arrival experience. By putting official parking inventory directly where fans are already buying tickets, whether that is on AAC's own platforms or in the Ticketmaster checkout, we're making parking easier to find and simpler to purchase..." In addition to the new digital parking passes, the venue will continue to use JustPark Prime, a mobile point-of-sale device designed to power fast, reliable entry operations for event parking as well as Suite, a comprehensive backend that provides real-time insights and control over parking inventory management.
