Allison colón joins Kean Miller in Baton Rouge. Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Allison R. Colón has joined the firm as senior counsel in its Baton Rouge office, further strengthening the firm's commercial litigation, complex business transactions, and corporate bankruptcy capabilities. With more than 25 years of legal experience, Allison advises corporations, limited liability companies, financial institutions, and other business clients on high-stakes litigation, strategic transactions, and complex commercial matters. Licensed in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi and fluent in Spanish, she provides practical, business-focused counsel to clients across a broad range of industries. Allison's practice spans corporate governance, business disputes, contract negotiations, corporate finance, creditors' rights, business sales and acquisitions, construction disputes, insurance coverage and recovery, and oil and gas leases. She regularly counsels clients on commercial financing transactions, fiduciary duties of directors and officers, priority disputes among secured creditors, critical contract provisions, the protection of trade secrets and other intellectual property, and strategies to minimize risk in the event of a contractual counterparty's financial distress. An experienced litigator, Allison represents clients in state and federal courts, arbitral forums, and appellate courts. Manning greene joins Kean Miller in Baton Rouge. Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Manning P. Greene has joined the firm as an associate in the Baton Rouge office, strengthening the firm's oil and gas, energy, mineral title, and natural resources practices. Manning advises clients on a wide range of energy-related matters and has significant experience in oil and gas title work, including preparing title opinions for energy producers. He has led complex prospect-wide projects involving division-of-interest analysis and division order title opinions and has worked through challenging title issues involving commercial properties, public road dedications, interstate highways, and airports. His experience also includes drafting pleadings, motion practice, and discovery in energy and environmental litigation matters. Manning earned his J.D./D.C.L. from the LSU Law Center in 2023, along with a Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy.
