Kettle & Fire scales bone broth leadership with new CEO after $43M investment

Kettle & Fire, the leading bone broth brand, has announced a leadership restructure to accelerate growth. Sam McBride, executive chairman for eight years, becomes CEO, bringing experience from scaling RXBAR to a $600 million acquisition. Brian Hack transitions to president and CFO, having nearly doubled the business and expanded household penetration by over 2 million buyers. Founded in 2014, Kettle & Fire is expanding beyond traditional bone broth into adjacent categories. The company launched beef tallow last year and introduced three new bone broths in 2026, including regeneratively-raised bison bone broth. Its Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, KettleWorks, celebrated its first anniversary, enabling greater innovation scale. The US bone broth market was estimated at over $400 million in 2025 and could double within several years.
