Kyan Health, DePoly and Lumvin win the Swiss Economic Award 2025.
On the second day of the Swiss Economic Forum, the presentation of the Swiss Economic Awards is traditionally one of the highlights. This year, two cleantech companies and a digital health start-up took the top spots on the podium.The Swiss Economic Forum came to an end today in Interlaken. Over two days, around 1,700 decision-makers from business, politics and science discussed the key challenges of an era in transition under the motto ‘Earn it’: global geopolitical tensions, structural economic upheavals and the consequences of the digital transformation. Speakers included Swiss President Karin Keller-Suter, Nobel Prize winner in economics Joseph Stiglitz, American financier Anthony Scaramucci and numerous CEOs from companies such as ABB, Logitech, Fielmann and several SMEs.On the second day, the Swiss Economic Award was presented in three categories: Deep Tech / Life Sciences, Services and Production / Energy.Deep Tech / Life Sciences: DePolyEvery year, millions of tons of PET and polyester waste end up in landfills or are incinerated. DePoly has developed a proprietary process that converts PET and polyester waste into virgin-quality raw materials without the use of fossil fuels. Kyan Health has raised $17 million in a funding round led by Amplo, Swisscom Ventures, GreyMatter Capital, naturalX Health Ventures, Founderful, Joyance Partners, and Business Angels.
