Overview

La Clinica de Familia is a nonprofit community health center serving families across southern New Mexico, including people who face barriers to care. Its clinics combine medical and dental treatment with behavioral health services, while school-based sites bring care closer to students. The organization also runs Early Head Start, a federally funded program that supports early learning through classrooms and home visits for eligible low-income families. Grants, contracts and patient fees fund its services, and discounts depend on household income and size. Established in 1978 after an earlier migrant health initiative, La Clinica de Familia is headquartered in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
