Latitude

Global payments infrastructure with stablecoin settlements

Overview

Latitude provides global payments infrastructure to modernize cross-border money movement by combining stablecoin settlement with local payout rails and compliance. Its Global Payouts product lets businesses send payments to 50+ markets in local fiat for a flat 0.5% fee at interbank FX, with instant settlement to local bank accounts, supported by the Latitude Liquidity Network that uses stablecoin rails and direct payout connections. For crypto-enabled builders, Latitude offers embeddable on/off-ramps that connect local bank accounts to stablecoins with minimal integration, while maintaining direct partnerships with stablecoin issuers and U.S. bank partners. The company aims to simplify and speed up international transfers for payroll platforms, marketplaces, fintechs, and digital wallets across more than 50 countries.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Latitude says 50-plus countries are live, giving immediate reach for payroll and wallets.
  • Direct issuer and U.S. bank integrations reduce settlement friction and onboarding delays.
  • Stablecoin adoption accelerated in 2026 after GENIUS Act rulemaking expectations.

What critics are saying

  • Wise, Tazapay, and MassPay already attack the same cross-border payout corridors.
  • State licenses exclude virtual currency in multiple jurisdictions, complicating stablecoin claims.
  • If volume stays small after 2026 launch, liquidity costs crush the 0.5% model.

What makes Latitude unique

  • Latitude launched March 2026 with 38 U.S. money-transmitter licenses or approvals.
  • Its 0.5% flat Global Payouts pricing undercuts manual correspondent-banking economics immediately.
  • NEA, Coinbase Ventures, Paxos, and Solana Foundation back its stablecoin-native network.
