Lexitas appoints Manu Mittal as Chief Financial Officer. June 16, 2026 Manu Mittal Lexitas has named finance and technology executive Manu Mittal as Chief Financial Officer, adding a veteran leader with more than two decades of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and operational strategy as the legal technology company continues to expand its national platform. The Houston-based provider of technology-enabled litigation support services said Mittal will oversee financial strategy and operations, including financial planning and analysis, capital allocation and initiatives designed to support long-term growth and scalability. Mittal joins Lexitas from Lexipol, a GTCR-backed software company focused on serving public safety organizations, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. In that role, he led financial planning, mergers and acquisitions activity, strategic growth initiatives and value creation efforts as the company expanded its operations and product offerings. "Manu brings a strong combination of financial expertise and operational leadership, with a proven track record of supporting growth in complex, high-performing organizations," said Nishat Mehta, Chief Executive Officer of Lexitas. "His experience in scaling businesses and driving disciplined financial strategy will be critical as we continue to expand our platform and deliver value to our clients." The appointment comes as legal technology and litigation support providers continue investing in technology, automation and service expansion to meet growing demand from law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance carriers and third-party administrators. As the industry evolves, financial discipline and acquisition strategy have become increasingly important for companies seeking to scale nationwide operations while integrating new technologies. Before joining Lexipol, Mittal held corporate finance leadership positions at Solera and Prologis, where he advised on acquisitions, operational growth strategies and capital allocation decisions across multiple business segments. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments. His background spans both public and private companies as well as private equity-backed organizations, experience that aligns with Lexitas' growth-focused strategy as it continues expanding its service portfolio and geographic reach. "I'm excited to join Lexitas at such an important time in the company's growth," Mittal said. "The organization's commitment to service excellence and innovation provides a strong foundation for continued success, and I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to drive long-term growth and operational excellence." Mittal holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Dallas. He is based in Dallas, where he will support the company's financial operations and strategic initiatives. Founded in 1987, Lexitas has grown into one of the largest providers of litigation support services in the United States. The company offers a broad range of legal services, including court reporting, record retrieval, process service, legal staffing, document review and commercial contracts outsourcing. Its technology-enabled platform supports law firms, corporations, insurance companies, courts and third-party administrators nationwide. The company has received several recent industry recognitions, including Inc.'s 2025 Best in Business Award for Best AI Implementation in the Extra-Large Company category. Lexitas was also included on the Inc. 5000 list for nine consecutive years, reflecting sustained revenue growth and expansion across the legal services sector. With more than 1,300 full-time employees, Lexitas continues to invest in technology and operational infrastructure designed to streamline legal workflows and improve service delivery. The addition of Mittal to the executive team signals the company's focus on strengthening financial operations as it pursues continued growth, evaluates strategic opportunities and expands its technology-enabled legal services platform.
