Bill Harbison Joins MGAC's San Francisco Office

Bill Harbison joins MGAC's San Francisco office. Posted By: Molly Atkins | February 19, 2026 MGAC is excited to announce the addition of Bill Harbison. Joining as a Director in the San Francisco office, Bill will be instrumental in driving business growth, scaling its team, and delivering high-impact projects across the Bay Area and beyond. Bill brings nearly 20 years of multidisciplinary experience to MGAC, his career spanning two continents and a diverse array of sectors, including commercial office, luxury hospitality, healthcare, and high-end residential. Most recently, he served as a Project Executive at Suffolk Construction, where he led the firm's Special Projects Group and directed the $168M delivery of The Fay, a 25-story residential high-rise in downtown San Jose. Bill began his career as a field superintendent at Turner Construction, where he mastered the piece-by-piece assembly of high-rise structures before moving into senior leadership roles at Related Companies and Fisher Brothers. His international portfolio includes the successful renovation of The American Club of Hong Kong, a premier luxury hospitality destination. "Bill's hands-on experience, combined with his impactful project work in the Bay Area, New York, and Hong Kong markets, allows him to navigate everything from Class A commercial CapEx projects to intricate high-end residential and life science builds," says Ashley O'Connor, Executive Managing Director at MGAC. "Bill steps into this role with a deep understanding of the local landscape, bringing specialized expertise in the asset repositioning and office conversions that are currently defining the city's renaissance." "I am thrilled to join MGAC at such a transformative time for the San Francisco market," says Bill. "Having spent years in the general contracting space, I am eager to bring that boots-on-the-ground perspective to the owner's side. There is a real changing of the guard happening in the Bay Area right now, and I look forward to helping MGAC lead the way in navigating these new opportunities." Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Montclair State University and a Certificate in Construction Management from the NYU School of Professional Studies. A resident of the Bay Area for seven years, he currently lives locally with his wife and two children. As an avid skier and golfer, Bill is a frequent visitor to Lake Tahoe and is currently focused on passing a love of sports and the outdoors to his children. Molly is a Senior Communications Coordinator and is responsible for maintaining a successful market position for MGAC through the development, coordination, and maintenance of content.
