Magnatech adds automated EMD tracking for Sabre-connected TMCs. 07/07/2026 1 min. read Travel technology provider Magnatech Travel Management Solutions has introduced automated Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) tracking for Sabre-connected travel management companies (TMCs), expanding the capabilities of its OnTrackplus platform. The new functionality is designed to automate the tracking of standalone and associated EMDs, helping agencies improve visibility over unused ancillary travel documents while reducing manual reconciliation and reporting processes. The enhancement comes as TMCs manage increasing volumes of ancillary airline products and services, driven in part by the continued growth of New Distribution Capability (NDC) content and more complex airline retailing. Greater visibility into ancillary travel services. OnTrackplus is Magnatech's automated solution for tracking unused airline tickets and travel credits. The addition of EMD tracking extends the platform's ability to monitor ancillary transactions throughout the travel credit lifecycle. According to Magnatech, the new capability enables travel organisations to identify unused EMDs more quickly, improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual servicing and reconciliation, and gain greater visibility into ancillary travel transactions. "Automating unused EMD tracking is a significant step forward for our clients and partners," said Magnatech president and CEO Paul Gioia. "As ancillary services and NDC content continue to expand across the travel industry, organisations need reliable visibility into EMD activity without the burden of manual processes." The new functionality is available for Sabre-connected TMCs and integrates with approved third-party systems including online booking tools, Umbrella Profiles, BookingBuilder, Kudos and authorised proprietary agency interfaces. Magnatech said the latest enhancement reflects ongoing investment in automation and data intelligence tools designed to streamline agency workflows and improve operational efficiency. For travel management companies, the expanded functionality offers another automation tool as airline distribution becomes increasingly focused on ancillary products and personalised retailing.
