Mayer Brown has partnered with Scissero to offer clients a streamlined solution for structured products issuance. The arrangement combines Mayer Brown's legal services with Scissero's AI-powered document verification platform. Under the partnership, client documents are configured on an automation platform, then validated by Scissero's AI system against approved templates and parameters. This approach, with human oversight, enables clients to issue products with lower notional amounts and better tailor offerings to distribution channels. The initiative initially targets US SEC-registered products but will extend to exempt offerings, European products, structured UITs and defined outcome products. Mayer Brown provides legal services and opinions, whilst Scissero handles AI-powered workflow and verification. The solution aims to deliver straight-through-processing efficiency for structured products documentation.
