Overview

Medical College of Wisconsin is a private academic health sciences institution training physicians, pharmacists, scientists and other health professionals through education and biomedical research across Wisconsin. Its three schools cover medicine, graduate studies and pharmacy, with teaching and research campuses in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Central Wisconsin. Researchers study disease and translate discoveries into prevention and treatment, while faculty clinicians deliver care through affiliated hospitals and clinics. MCW also works with Wisconsin communities on health needs, including training physicians for rural practice. Founded in 1893, MCW has its main campus at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center in Wisconsin.
